How Waraira works
Waraira helps help arrive. It connects people who need aid with people who can give it, and keeps a record of every step, during the response to the June 2026 earthquakes in Venezuela.
It works on top of and alongside the aid platforms that already exist. Hazlo Hoy and others already gather a lot of information; Waraira adds the coordination: it matches each need with a resource, arranges the transport, safeguards the people who need it, and leaves a clear trace of what happened.
First, if lives are at risk
If lives are in danger right now, call the emergency services before anything else. They respond on the ground. We complement them, we do not replace them.

How to report
Reporting takes a moment, and you do not need to set up a long account.

Tell us in a few words what is happening and who or what is needed.

Drop the pin on the map and choose state, municipality, and parish, so help knows where to go.

Confirm your phone
We send you a code by message. That is how we know there is a real person behind each report.
We ask for your number to keep trust: no report is fully anonymous, which is what makes it possible to follow up. Your number is never shown in public.
How to find or follow help
You do not need an account to look. Search by name or place, explore the map, and open any report by its code.
- Every report has a status and an outcome, and both are public.
- If you shared a report, you can follow how it moves along.
What we protect
Trust holds because the rules are clear:
- A child's identity is never public.
- We never ask for or move money.
- We take no political side. The service is for everyone.
- We never query government databases.
- The trace of each step (who reported, who carried, who delivered) is what protects people.
