Terms of Use

Last updated: June 30, 2026 · info@waraira.org

By using Waraira you accept these terms. They are written in plain language, so you know what Waraira is, what you can expect, and what we expect from you.

1. What Waraira is

Waraira is a free, civilian tool for coordinating help.

It complements the emergency services (911, Protección Civil) and does not replace them. If there is a life-threatening emergency, call them first.

2. Community information, unverified

Reports are created by the community and may be incomplete, wrong, or out of date. Verify before acting.

We are not responsible for decisions made based on community information.

We do not confirm deaths. Only the authorities or forensic services do, through a verified channel.

3. Never money

Waraira never asks for, holds, or processes payments. Any report asking for money is flagged and removed, with a record.

Do not send money to anyone through this platform or because of something you saw on it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not post false or malicious reports. Do not harass anyone. Do not expose other people's personal details. Do not post political or partisan content. Do not try to identify or locate protected minors. Do not scrape or abuse Waraira.

We may remove content and revoke access, keeping a record.

5. Our role

We add order, traceability, and a safeguard to the civilian layer, and we pass cases to the authorities. We do not take custody of people or decide cases.

6. Who can use it and identity

To report, you need to verify your phone and confirm the number is yours. You can also report through someone close to you, with their consent.

Without an account, you can only read and search.

7. No warranty or liability

Waraira is a good-faith humanitarian effort. It is a new initiative, meant for everyone to make good use of. We welcome suggestions, and together we keep it standing: by using it with care and by filling in the information it asks for.

Our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Venezuela.
